Competition Age Groups

Competition age refers to the age groups from under 12 to under 16.  These age groups play 11-a-side football, using the rules set out in the FIFA Laws of the Game.  These age groups may vary each year depending on the number, age and skill level of the players registered.  Girls only teams may be available.  In 2016 the junior competitions offered by Football Bundaberg Inc. include under 12, under 14A, under 14B and under 16.  We endeavour to place players with their friendship group or previous teams however this is not always possible if numbers have been filled or registration is late.

We encourage our players to create links with the development programs and player pathways in the area.  Villa are proud that we have 3 players in our under 14A age group who have been selected for Queensland teams!

Expressions of interest for coaches and manages positions are always welcome. You can find more information under the volunteers tab.

Training

Training for miniroos and competition teams occurs one day per week for one hour at the Brothers Sports Club training fields.  Teams usually train on Wednesday or Thursday between 3 and 6pm under agreement with the coach and club committee.
